Symphonix Health builds intelligent healthcare infrastructure. We saw health systems drowning in integration complexity and AI agents arriving with no standard for discovery, trust, or coordination. We set out to fix that.
We identified a gap: healthcare systems were drowning in integration complexity. AI agents were arriving with no standard for discovery, trust, or coordination. Legacy governed connectivity platforms moved data but never understood it.
Health systems run on dozens of incompatible standards and protocols. Every new connection is a bespoke project. AI agents are multiplying, but there is no registry for discovery, no protocol for delegation, and no trust framework for clinical safety.
We built three products to fix it. BulletTrain: an AI-powered Health Information Exchange built on the OpenHIE framework — 160+ microservices implementing the mediator pattern across every healthcare standard. Nexus Agent-to-Agent (A2A): an open protocol for secure clinical delegation. The Global Healthcare Agent Registry and Routing Authority (GHARRA): a trust layer so health systems know which agents are safe to use.
Our clinical AI is named Bevan, after Aneurin Bevan (1897 – 1960), the Welsh politician who founded the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) in 1948.
The Tredegar principle: healthcare should be available to all, regardless of wealth or circumstance.
Inspired by the Tredegar Medical Aid Society, where Aneurin Bevan grew upIn the small Welsh town of Tredegar, a medical aid society funded by miners provided healthcare to every resident. Bevan took this local model and scaled it to an entire nation. The NHS became the world's first universal, free-at-the-point-of-use health service.
Intelligent healthcare infrastructure should be available to every health system — not just those with the largest budgets. Open protocols, open registries, and transparent AI so that any health system can participate in the agent economy.
"Intelligent healthcare reasoning should be available to every health system — not just those that can afford proprietary cloud AI."
The United Kingdom National Health Service launches, providing universal healthcare free at the point of use. A model that would inspire health systems worldwide and, decades later, inspire the name of our clinical AI.
Healthcare integration remains fragmented. AI agents are proliferating with no standard for discovery, trust, or coordination. The gap between what technology can do and what health systems can safely adopt is widening.
Symphonix Health is founded in Dublin, Ireland. Work begins on BulletTrain, Nexus A2A, and the Global Healthcare Agent Registry and Routing Authority (GHARRA). Three products, one mission: intelligent healthcare infrastructure for every health system.
Nexus A2A protocol and GHARRA managed service are launched. BulletTrain is free to install and self-host. The Global Agent Registry root node goes live in Dublin.
Every product decision starts with the clinical outcome. Technology serves healthcare, not the other way around. If it does not improve care delivery, it does not ship.
Intelligent infrastructure should be available to every health system — from integrated care organisations to county-level health networks. Open protocols lower the barrier to entry.
Proprietary lock-in is the enemy of interoperability. Our agent communication protocol (Nexus A2A) is a governed standard and our trust registry (GHARRA) is a managed service — because healthcare infrastructure must be interoperable, not a competitive moat.
Patient data never leaves the jurisdiction. Every agent interaction is audited with hash-chained trails. Consent enforcement is built into the protocol layer, not bolted on afterwards.
Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland — a GDPR adequacy hub at the crossroads of UK, EU, and African health systems. Ireland's position as a global technology centre and EU member state provides regulatory clarity and data protection assurance for health systems worldwide.
Ireland's position within the European Union provides a strong data protection framework. GDPR enforcement is built into our products at the protocol level, not as an afterthought. Data residency is configurable per deployment.
The GHARRA root node operates from Dublin, providing the trust anchor for the federated agent registry network. Regional nodes can be deployed within national data boundaries while maintaining trust chain integrity.
Ireland is home to the Global Agent Registry root node — the trust anchor for the federated agent discovery network. As an EU member state with GDPR at its foundation, Ireland provides the regulatory framework and data protection assurance that health systems worldwide require. Its position between the UK, continental Europe, and Africa makes it a natural bridge for cross-border healthcare collaboration.
Healthcare infrastructure must be auditable. Our products are designed so that any health system, regulator, or researcher can inspect and verify.
Intelligent Health Data Platform. 160+ microservices covering every healthcare standard. Free to install, with enterprise support available.
Global Healthcare Agent Registry and Routing Authority. Federated trust layer for agent discovery, capability verification, and clinical risk scoring. Charged per agent usage.
Agent-to-Agent communication protocol for secure clinical delegation. JSON-RPC 2.0 with Server-Sent Events (SSE) and WebSocket transport.
